‘Laverne & Shirley’ Co-Star Squiggy, David Lander, Dies

Sad to share the news that one half of the crazy, dopey duo Lenny and Squiggy has passed away. David Lander, who played Andrew Squiggman on the hit show “Laverne & Shirley” from 1976-1982, died due to MS. He had battle to disease for 36 years.

Michael McKean, who played Squiggy’s buddy Lenny, tweeted a photo of the two.

Henry Winkler, who as the Fonz on “Happy Days” was in the “Laverne & Shirley” world of sorts, also tweeted about David Lander.

“Laverne & Shirley” is one of my favorite shows from childhood. And, it still holds up today! It’s a silly, goofy, sitcom and doesn’t try to be anything else.

Watch the below video of Lenny and Squiggy entrances. “Helllooo…”

And with that we say goodbye and much peace to you, David Lander.
